I tend to set "mini goals" for myself as a photographer with nature. I wanted some hawk pictures and got tons, but couldn't hold back the elation I felt when this fella flew right over my head. It was like he knew it was his photo op!
I was envisioning a hawk on a post picture.
But OH this is so much better!!
And off he went......

AWESOME captures!! Birds are hard, I've found. At least to have a sharp focus they are. That's funny because Monday I got my bird opportunity. It was a huge falcon! So fun to happen upon such opportunities!
