Of course I have to nominate someone since I love your photography.  As much as I'd like to nominate myself, I'm a little too far from IF or St. George!  So, I nominate my brother and his wife!  They have been together since their senior year of high school, had their first child soon after, and have followed Hali up with three more since then!  With my brother working full time and my sister-in-law keeping busy as a stay-at-home mom with four children, they rarely have time for themselves.  They've taken family photos once with my  family, and twice with the her family.  Each time they've had pictures of them with their kids, not  alone as husband and wife.  Neither of them would schedule a photo session on their own, because they are too focused on taking care of others.  So it would be so fun to surprise them with winning...and capture their love!!  

I'm excited to hear if they win!!

why do i think i should win... well
 I have been married to my husband for 6 years. We haven't been able to have kids of our own... yet. When we were just months in to our marriage we moved away from my family and went to school. while we struggled like any newly Wed's do we almost ended our marriage. But after much prayer we knew that we needed each other. We have grown up so much, It's been so long since a photo shoot was just about us. ( back when we were engaged) i think it would do us both good to be looking fabulous. Now that we have been married for 6 years and moved more time then we have been married ( almost). We only have had time for working and really nothing else. We find our self's with one income and going back to school... again. I think we deserve some AWESOME pictures. So seriously think about us

I am wanting to nominate my mother & father in-law for your photo contest. They have been apart of my life for 8 1/2 years now and they have never gotten professional photos done since I have known them. I would love to have photo of the two of them to put up on my shelve with all the other family pictures, as I am sure others in the family would love to as well. I am not sure why they have not gotten any done but I think especially my mother in law would treasure having some photos done of them. About over a year and half ago my father in law had a cancer scare but luckily they got it all out and he has been cancer free for over year now. I think it would be nice not just for them but for the whole family to have some really good and nice photos of them done. Especially since you never know what road life will take you on. I can only imagine what you would be able to capture of the two them. Both of them are really giving people and have helped us out with our boys the past few years. I am so grateful to have them in all of lives, and this is the least that I can do.

We have been married for 15 years and only had our pictures taken once professionally.  I would like some pictures of just my husband and I to put up that are not our wedding photos.

I want to nominate my good friends for your picture contest. 16 months ago my friend was out walking her dog and was hit by a car going 55 MPH on Highway 56. My husband was coming home for dinner while on duty and saw the accident happen. It didn't realize that it was our good friend until he was next to her on the street. 2 days before she had been at our house loving on our 6 month old baby as my husband watched her feeling so much love for someone who loved our sweet cranky baby. He knelt over her broken body, brushed the hair out of her face and told her everything would be ok.My friend  was life flighted with multiple life threatening injuries. She went through multiple surgeries. She was in a coma for 6 weeks...when she finally started to wake up it was a very slow process. It was very uncertain how much brain damage had been done, if she would ever be able to walk...so many questions. The first and only consistent thing that my friend  remembered was my husband "tendering her" and telling her she would be ok. 16 months later she is almost herself. We like to tease her about her broken filter and she walks with the help of arm braces but she gets better and better all the time. My friends husband was by her side every minute of every day. He had to quit his job. he had to move his family up North to be closer to the hospitals, he was amazing. My friend tells me all the time that She knows the reason she got better so fast was because she had her husband with her. I love this family so much. They need this time together. She needs to feel beautiful.
